The flower-shaped JJC LH-65B Lens Hood is dedicated to the Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM and EF 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 DO IS USM Lens and helps to minimize flare by deflecting stray light from entering the lens. There is no vignetting with the hood on. The hood allows you to put on a filter and a lens cap. The hood can also be placed backwards over the lens for a more compact storage solution. The hood provides additional protection to the lens from accidental impacts, bumps, and scratches.
